For their debut album, Argentine singer Sebastian Muravchik and French producer Ali Renault unite the emotional weight of their personal experiences with the dance rhythms of 80s and 90s pop, creating an album which is both a celebration and a lamentation. Lies was recorded in a variety of locations, including a converted studio in Nigeria (all true).
