100% Pinot Noir from this lovely producer in Burgundy. The wine is light and fresh with red fruit and floral notes. The domaine has been in the family for generations and is now run by Maurice's son, Benoit. The vineyards are farmed organically and the wines are made with minimal intervention, allowing the terroir to shine through. The Bourgogne Rouge is a blend of fruit from several different parcels, all of which are planted to Pinot Noir. The wine is aged in a combination of stainless steel and oak before being bottled with a light filtration approximately a year after going into barrel.
