According to the Tibetan language, Lhotse means South Peak. The climb is technically challenging and demands a high level of physical fitness and acclimatization. Experienced climbers will find this expedition a rewarding ascent of a majestic Himalayan giant. Oxygen bottles are a crucial component of this high-altitude trek, with a suggested minimum of five bottles available for personal use. Our experience suggests this is generally sufficient for an average climber to manage the ascent and descent safely.
