Description

The process of turning carbon from cremated ashes into a diamond involves extracting 1-4% of carbon that still exists in the ashes and fragments of bones remaining after cremation. This carbon is transformed into graphite, which is then grown into a diamond using High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) technology. The reduction of carbonates to pure carbon is achieved through a two-part process in a high-temperature, low-oxygen controlled environment, ensuring that the carbon is purified and ready to be grown into a diamond.
