Moonwalks Western Mystery Tradition Levitation Edition is a limited exclusive pressing of 50 units on 180g coke bottle clear vinyl, including a download card. This third studio album from Moonwalks, released via Fuzz Club on May 26th, marks a departure from their psych-rock roots towards a more refined sound. It was produced by Mattiel’s Jonah Swilley and recorded in May 2019 at Detroit’s Masonic Temple with Bill Skibbe. Conceived during a polar vortex in Detroit, the album draws inspiration from the band's isolated state amidst a bleak Michigan winter. Moonwalks, composed of Kerrigan Pearce, Jacob Dean, and Kate Gutwald, originated in Detroit's DIY scene and have since toured extensively, supporting notable acts across North America and Europe.
