History Place Of Origin: United Kingdom. Date Period: Circa 1880, Victorian. The stones Lapis: originated during the Roman empire and maintaining significance right through to the middle ages, signet rings were incised with a coat of arms or the family initials to mark documents and royal proclamations with a monogram. Cut in the shape of an octagon, this rich blue lapis is engraved with the initials 'G.K' and is a rare example of its kind. Lapis size: Length 11mm; Width 10.1mm; Depth 4mm Treatment: Unheated/untreated (assessed by our GIA qualified gemologist). Band Metal Composition: 18ct yellow gold. Band Size: UK R / US 8.75. Resizing: Single complimentary re-size available. This ring can easily be re-sized up or down to any size.
