This armchair was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mölgard-Nielsen and released by France & Daverkosen Co., Ltd. In 1954. Its frame combines teak wood strength with elegant curves made possible through steam bending techniques applied during manufacturing processes involving both materials—teak along side birch—to create comfortable seating experiences supported internally via springs wrapped within new urethane cushions replacing older ones entirely.
