The Pollock strain is a magic truffle producing variety of Psilocybe Tampanensis, formerly known as Psilocybe atlantis. Our Pollock strain has direct lineage to the original specimen Pollock mushroom that was found near Tampa, Florida in the year 1977 by famed mycologist Steven Pollock. This strain produces sclerotia, also known as 'philospher's stones' or 'magic truffles' in culture. The spores of Pollock strain (P. tampanensis) are purple-black when printed, but appear somewhat yellowish brown when viewed under a microscope. The spores are rhombic on 4-spored basidia, and purple/black in deposit. They are fairly light spore producers.
