This coffee originates from the Mogiana region, a renowned area along the border of the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, Brazil. The region is known for its rolling hills and uneven terrain, which contribute to the small to medium-sized farms. This particular lot comes from farms averaging 60 acres in size and is classified as Fine Cup (FC) and Strictly Soft (SS), the highest cup category in the Brazilian coffee grading system. The coffee is produced by the Bourbon and Mondo Novo hybrid varieties, grown at an altitude of 800-1200 meters above sea level. The beans are processed using a full natural method and dried in the sun and mechanical driers.
