Micropore tape is commonly used to cover holes in mushroom cultivation, locking in humidity while allowing for good air exchange. The mushrooms will push the tape off when they begin to grow from the bucket. This tape also works well as a filter for covering ventilation holes in monotubs. 3M tape is easy to remove, leaving minimal glue residue behind.
