Crosby Roamann’s 2023 Estate Bottle Sauvignon Blanc doesn’t compromise an inch on the quality front—it earned 95 points from Master of Wine Lisa Perrotti-Brown (who also used to run the Wine Advocate)—but the price is shockingly low. From a “once in a lifetime” vintage (LPB), it’s estate-grown from two different clones—including the rare, aromatic Sauvignon Musqué cultivar—vinified with wild yeasts, and aged in a mixture of new French oak and stainless steel. This stands with bottles well above the winery’s $42 price. Vibrant, zesty, and delicious, with a golden hue in the glass. Aromas are driven by apricot and white peach, lemon zest and chamomile, with a hint of honeysuckle and ginger. The mouthfeel is vibrant and citrus-driven, with elegance, spice, and a lasting finish.
