The 1970s was a decade of innovation in many areas. One of the new trends was self-sufficiency, which inspired Nanny Glerup. She saw the potential of creating comfortable slippers using felted wool, which led to the birth of glerups. As a nice design element we have added a top lining of Gotland wool where you see and feel the soft, curly and natural structure. All slippers are produced in our own factory and in our special glerups wool mix. The Limited Edition model has wool lining for extra softness.
