This activity is for pharmacists and is sponsored by Postgraduate Healthcare Education, LLC (PHE). There has been no commercial support for this activity. This program is approved by the Texas Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in accordance with House Bill 2059 from the 86th Legislature, Regular Session, of 2019. The goal is to be able to identify individuals who may be victims of human trafficking; conduct an interview with the potential victim; report cases of human trafficking; and ensure proper referral, treatment, and counseling for health risks associated with human trafficking. Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to describe the hidden signs of human trafficking, demonstrate how to interview a potential victim, and show proper referral, treatment, and counseling for common health risks associated with human trafficking.
