Joseph "Mojo" Morganfield was born April 14, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. Mojo is the youngest son of World-Famous Muddy Waters. Mojo is no stranger to the stage; he began touring with his father at the age of 16 and has shared the stage with many famous Chicago blues artists, both as a drummer and a vocalist. Mojo has always been around the blues, and it is a natural gift that he inherited from his father. In the early 2000s, Mojo began writing his own original songs and singing full sets. He is now performing his music once again in clubs and festivals around Chicago, the United States, and in Europe when the pandemic allows. Joseph has performed on stage with Grammy Award Winners Don Was, Jamey Johnson, and Warren Haynes at The Chicago Theater – The Last Waltz and with his brother Big Bill Morganfield at the Chicago Blues Festival.
