September Full Moon Sunset Nature Hike After Party

On Saturday evening, September 6, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., my wife Rondia and I will lead a Full Moon Sunset Nature Hike to a place above the Ojai. At the trailhead we'll gradually walk about 1.5 miles on a well used dirt road with gradual elevation gain, stopping along the way to meet some valuable edible and medicinal plants including, among others: Black and Purple Sage, Coastal Sagebrush, Mugwort, Passion Fruit, Yucca and Prickly Pear. The hike will be followed by an after-party featuring seasonal craft beers from Ojai Valley Brewery such as Sugar Bush Sumac brew, White Pixie Ale, and Chaparral Ale, as well as non-alcoholic options like Elderflower-Blackberry Spritzer.
